Asian Single Women Have the Advantage

When it comes to dating, Asian single women have the advantage. According to a study done by the University of California at Irvine, Asian women are the most desirable of all women.

The study, conducted between 2004 and 2005 identified Asian women as one of the particular preferences of white men which researchers theorized may have to do with the media’s portrayal of Asian women in a gentle, caring light.

While Asian single women living in the West have the advantage of being highly prized, they also have greater access to a larger number of men to date. They typically have greater economic resources to determine the direction of their dating life and their lives in general.

Single women from Southeast Asia often have fewer advantages due to the weak economies of their native countries resulting in less economic opportunity. Therefore, the Internet can be an excellent tool for Asian women looking to immigrate to the West, meet a love match, and start a new life.

These matches between Asian women and Western men can be as loving and happy as any match. However, commonly held myths should be addressed. The notion that some Western men have that Asian women are some sort of theatrical “Geisha” or “China doll” is absurd and often quite offensive.

Asian women, like women of any culture, have depth, soul and complexity and deserve to be treated with equality and respect–not as subservient maids.

Conversely, Western men who take offense at an Asian woman’s concern with their financial stability must first understand that ANY woman looking for an appropriate mate and potential father of her children will look for a man with means to support a family. These are simply practical concerns.

When cultural barriers can successfully be crossed and motivations more clearly understood, love matches will have a greater chance to grow and blossom for Asian single women
