Why am I considered pathetic If I can’t meet woman in the country I live in right now ?

I don’t consider myself pathetic because almost half of the vietnamese guys in the city have went to vietnam to get married and so that means all of us are pathetic ? There’s a huge different between a mail order bride and an arranged marriage. When you get married to a girl who is introduced by your parents and aunt, that is an arranged marriage. I’m not buying the girl, I’m marrying her. A Mail Order Bride is a girl who is sold and I’m not that barbaric to buy a girl. The girl agreed to marry me on her own will and there’s no force, she wanted to start a family and she’s itching to. Why do some people consider me pathetic that i can’t meet woman in the country I live in ? I don’t consider myself pathetic, I’m better because I have a back up plan just in case dating fails which it did.

You are considered pathetic because you are MORE CONCERNED with what people think of you, than you are concerned with what you think of yourself.

If you were secure in the fact that you are entering into an arranged marriage, you would not care what other people think, and therefore you would not be pathetic. The people with the issue of your arranged marriage would be pathetic. However, since you are on Y!A whining about what people think, THAT is what makes you pathetic.
